MARGHERITA LOBA AMADIO
4AM
4 a.m., summer, a sleeping ferry.
How much you can learn about someone you know nothing about, what a great unintentional intimacy sprouts in front of the asleep, vulnerable and at ease.
Sleeping in a mess, fully equipped and organized, well protected in a corner or randomly fluctuating in the middle of the floor, a couple, a group, a single: we belong to our needs, we belong to our habits, we belong to our comfort.
We are all on the same boat, we belong to each other.

BUILDING NEPAL / DESTROYING NEPAL
Nepal, 2019.
Four years after the earthquakes which struck on April and May 2015.
An estimated 100’000 people are still living in emergency accommodation.
Similar sceneries belong to different realities and imply different meanings: reconstruction of shattered buildings vs overbuilding in previously untouched natural areas.
Work sites and life sites: bricks, bamboo, metal, cement, sand, dirt.
